Nokia –Arena in Tampere Finland is our latest design project. Opening Gala was held in 15th of December 2021.
The arena is a part of larger urban development which was designed by world famous architect David Libeskind. The whole development includes the arena and 5 residential/office towers. One tower is integrated with arena.
AHH Sportsbase + Venues responsibility was to design the arena inside the arena shell according to which the detailed design was carried out. Additional responsibility was to produce certain detailed designs in cooperation with Aihio Architects.
During construction the concept was developed further together with arena company so that the operational details could be incorporated early which is important to have a successful arenaproject.
